Nen Daiko to Perform at Synetic Theatre in Arlington

To celebrate its 20th year of existence as a group, Nen Daiko (Japanese: 念太鼓) is hosting concert at the Synetic Theater in Crystal City. It will include performances by guests Soh Daiko (of New York Buddhist Temple), and Hoh Daiko (of Seabrook Buddhist Temple).

Nen Daiko is a taiko drumming group based out of Ekoji Buddhist Temple in Fairfax, Virginia. “Our music is influenced by our Buddhist roots, as well as traditional Japanese culture. Anybody with an interest in world music, Japanese culture, or just music in general is encouraged to come check us out,” says Chase Uyeda.
