Iñaki Arakistain to perform on June 21 at the Sala Berlanga in Madrid

On June 21, 2014, saxophonist Iñaki Arakistain will present his new album, Saxual, to be released soon. A versatile instrumentalist and a familiar face in Madrid’s jazz scene, Arakistain has two earlier recording available: Tiempos de búsqueda (Search Times (2008), which was a purely jazz concept (hard bop, modern jazz, latin jazz); and Plan B (2010), where he ventured into Brazilian music and funk, linking his own compositions with the common harmonic language of jazz.

He has performed and sharde the stage with musicians like Jerry González, Javier Colina, Mark Redford, Benny Green, Lewis Nash, Danilo Perez, Sean Levitt, and Jayme Marques and others.
