Flamenco pianist Laura de los Ángeles releases her second album Mi Nueva Esperanza

Pianist Laura de los Ángeles has become the first woman in history to record and release two flamenco piano albums composed by herself. Mi Nueva Esperanza (My New Hope) features eleven self-penned pieces.

Laura de los Ángeles recorded the album in 2013 at Bola studio with producer and musical director Jesus Bola. Mi Nueva Esperanza features guests such as Pascual Gonzalez and Hispalis Choir, Julio Pardo Choir, Jarcha, Juan Valderrama, Alicia Gil, Luis Heredia ” El Polaco” and Manolo Herrera.

Mi Nueva Esperanza features a mix of original flamenco pieces as well as splendid adaptations of popular songs.

In the words of Laura de los Ángeles: “recording this new project has enhanced my total dedication to flamenco as an art form. It is a new recording during a very important moment in my life because it was after giving birth to my first child. It’s a New Hope … ”
