Colombian group Cimarrón will begin its summer tour: “Tour 2014 El Viaje Del Joropo” with a concert on June 7 at Teatro Pablo Tobón in Medellín. Later, the band will perform in France, Switzerland and Portugal.
Cimarrón is set to perform at the following festivals: Rio Loco in Toulose, Festival Paleó in Nyon, festival FMM in Sines, Festival Nuit Du Sud in Vence, Festival Les Tombées de la Nuit in Rennes, and Festival Le Café de l´été en la Roch-sur-Yon.
Cimarrón is a Colombian música llanera (plains music) group directed by harpist Carlos Cuco Rojas and vocalist Ana Veydó. It was nominated for a Grammy in 2005 and won the Independent Music Awards 2012.
