Youssou N’Dour and le Super Etoile de Dakar to Perform at WOMAD UK 2014

Global superstar Youssou N’Dour and the trailblazing Le Super Etoile de Dakar (Senegal) are scheduled to perform at this year’s edition of WOMAD UK.

Youssou N’Dour first climbed onto a WOMAD stage almost 30 years ago. The Senegalese singer has dominated West African music throughout the past decades, and rekindling his special relationship with WOMAD offers another opportunity to treat those ears to one of the world’s most exhilarating voices.

WOMAD UK 2014 will take place at Charlton Park, 24th-27th July.
