World Music Expo (WOMEX) has announced that it will extend the deadline for proposals for the WOMEX 2014 Showcase Festival. The deadline for all showcase proposals is Wednesday, April 23, 2014. This year’s conference will take place October 22 – 26, 2014 in Santiago de Compostela, in northwestern Spain.
WOMEX accepts submissions from any artist, including upcoming acts as well as experienced professionals. The selected acts will perform for an audience of influential professionals from the global music industry, including concert and festival programmers, tour promoters and venues (around 800 attended WOMEX 2013), offering musical acts a tremendous launching pad for the international phase of their careers.
