Celebrated Quebecois band Genticorum to Perform at Monroe County Public Library

Notable Quebecois band Genticorum will present a workshop and concert at Monroe County Public Library Auditorium (303 E. Kirkwood) in Bloomington, Indiana on Monday, March 24.

Participants will be able to learn about traditional Canadian Quebecois music, song, and foot-percussion from Genticorum, a critically acclaimed trio from Montreal. Pascal Gemme, Alexandre de Grosbois-Garand, and Yann Falquet capture the essence of French-Canadian traditional culture with a vibrant, festive sound and brilliant musicianship.

The band’s discography includes La Bibournoise, Malins Plaisir, Nagez Rameurs, Enregistre Live, Le Galarneau, and Sounds of the Flurry!

Seating is on a first come, first served basis; venue capacity is 144.
Concert begins at 7:00 pm (doors open at 6:30)
