The Recording Academy announced today the winners of the 56th Annual GRAMMY Awards. Two predictable recordings tied for Best World Music Album: Live: Singing For Peace Around The World by Ladysmith Black Mambazo (Ladysmith Black Mambazo) and Savor Flamenco (Knitting Factory Records) by Gipsy Kings.
Paquito D’Rivera’s Song For Maura (Sunnyside Records/Paquito Records) won the Best Latin Jazz Album award.
