World Music Conference Babel Med Music Announces 2014 Showcases

World music expo Babel Med Music in Marseilles will celebrate its 10th year in 2014. The influential regional showcase has announcers the names of some of the artists that will perform during the 2014 edition.

Every year, 15,000 audience members and 2,500 professionals get together to network and check out world music acts.

Babel Med Music wants to make it clear that “Culture knows no crisis.” Figures provided indicate that 240,874 jobs are closely related to music; the manufacture of musical instruments is a €564 million industry; and live musical entertainment accounts for €2.4 billion in revenues.
