The Madison World Music Festival revealed the lineup for the 2013 edition of the festival. The free event takes place in Madison (Wisconsin) at both the Terrace (Memorial Union) and Willy Street venues. This year, Madison World Music Festival will present 11 bands.

Thursday, September 19th
Ravikiran Quartet, an Indian classical music ensemble
Kardemimmit, a Finnish female quartet, all of whom have mastered the national instrument of Finland: The kantele.
Christine Salem, an expressive vocalist from the Reunion Islands.
Friday, September 20th
Baladino, an Israeli world music ensemble.
Krar Collective, an Ethiopian groove band.
Saturday, September 21st
DakhaBrakha, Ukrainian folk music with a modern sound.
Monsieur Perine, a Colombian group mixing swinging gypsy jazz with a dash of pan-Latin American sounds.
Cristina Pato, Spanish bagpiper, pianist, and composer.
Joan Soriano, bachata singer and guitarist from The Dominican Republic.
