Swedish Folk Masters Väsen Begin 2013 Spring Tour

Väsen, one of the finest contemporary Swedish folk music acts, is touring the western United States this month. The group has just released a new CD titled “Mindset” (NorthSide). It is the band’s 10th studio album.

The lineup includes Mikael Marin on viola, Olov Johansson on nyckelharpa, kontrabasharpa, and ktavnyckelharpa; and Roger Tallroth on guitars.

Their next US tour is being planned for late September in the Midwest.
