International Songwriting Competition (ISC) announced yesterday that due to high demand, the contest (ISC) has extended the deadline for entering songs until November 1, 2012. ISC is open to amateur and professional songwriters, and entries are accepted online through the ISC platform, Sonicbids, ReverbNation, Broadjam, or through the mail. The ISC includes a world music category. Within this extended deadline period, ISC will be offering some special promotions and incentives.
ISC will be giving away a total of more than $150,000 in cash and prizes. This year ISC has doubled the amount of merchandise for the Grand Prize winner to more than $40,000 in prizes plus $25,000 in cash (US). Additional prizes include a custom Lowden acoustic guitar valued at over $11,000, a Marshall full stack amp, a studio package from Solid State Logic, a duplicator from Discmakers, and much more.
Not only do ISC winners receive great prizes and media recognition, but winners also receive recording industry attention. Many previous winners have gone on to great success and garnered record deals, publishing deals, licensing deals, and even Grammys.
