WOMEX 2012 Announces Club Globalkan Program

World music conference WOMEX 2012 will present a showcase exclusively dedicated to Balkan music. During all three festival nights, artists from Greece and nearby southeastern European countries will take center stage at Club Globalkan.

Club Globalkan is an initiative by WOMEX’s local partners – presented by Gaialive in collaboration with the Municipality of Thessaloniki.

WOMEX is the largest international conference and showcase dedicated to world usic. The 2012 edition is set to take place in Thessaloniki (Greece) October 17 – 21 of 2012.
