Hazmat Modine Releases Animated Video Directed by Mattias Gordon

New York cross-cultural band Hazmat Modine has a new music video of the song Mockingbird” from the 2011 album Cicada. The video was made by Swedish director Mattias Gordon.

Cicada features a wide range of sounds, such as blues, jazz, brass band music, Latin and other global sounds. The musical instruments used include tuba, chromatic harmonica, trumpet, flugelhorn, trombone, tenor and baritone saxophones, piccolo, duduk, mandocello and steel guitar. There are also collaborations with Gangbe Brass Band from Benin, the Kronos Quartet and American vocalist Natalie Merchant.
