Amsterdam Klezmer Band Announces the Release of New Album Titled Mokum

Amsterdam Klezmer Band announced this week the March 2012 release of a new album titled Mokum. The live album celebrates the 15th birthday with 16 tracks from the popular acoustic-combo! It was recorded in two sessions in front of an exclusive audience at the famous 150 Studio placed in Amsterdam. Given that there was no use of any overdubs one gets an authentic view of the competence and talent that is presented on the album.

Mokum has already been published in the Netherlands and finally the ex-street musicians receive the attention and recognition they deserve: AKB entered the Charts with their new album (even placed at the top 30 in the alternative charts), were invited to the most famous Dutch TV-Show, and received excellent reviews and band portraits.

The Amsterdam Klezmer Band will be on their “15th Annoversary” Tour troughout 2012. Here are the first dates:
