Vieux Farka Toure Spring Tour 2011 Begins This Week

Vieux Farka Toure’s Spring Tour 2011 will begin on May 13th in Colorado (USA). He will be promoting his third and most accomplished studio album, ‘The Secret’ (Six Degrees Records), which will be released May 24, 2011. The album produced by guitarist Eric Krasno (of Soulive fame) also features Dave Matthews, Derek Trucks, John Scofield, Ivan Neville and Vieux’s final collaboration with his legendary father, Ali Farka Toure.

Given his recent collaborations and accomplishments-including a performance in front of a billion people during the 2010 World Cup-Vieux’s time to break through to larger audiences has arrived.
