This Video of the Week celebrates Paper Airplane, the new album by one of the greatest voices in American roots music, bluegrass singer and fiddler Alison Krauss joined by the master contemporary bluegrass instrumentalists of Union Station.
Paper Airplane is Alison Krauss’ first album of all-new recordings in partnership with Union Station since 2004’s Lonely Runs Both Ways.
The band includes Jerry Douglas on Dobro, lap steel guitar, and vocals; Dan Tyminski on guitar, mandolin, lead vocal; Ron Block on banjo and guitar; and Barry Bales on bass, vocals; and Alison Krauss on lead vocal and fiddle.
The album Paper Airplane was produced by Krauss and Union Station, with studio legend Mike Shipley engineering and mixing.
A deluxe edition of Paper Airplane is being offered exclusively at Target retail stores nationwide and on Target.com.
