One of today’s most vital, virtuosic, creative and influential bluegrass acts, Blue Highway will celebrate the release of their brand new record, Some Day: 15th Anniversary Collection by headlining the concert. Also appearing are the stunning singer and accomplished songwriter Alecia Nugent, Toronto folk rocker Sarah Harmer (who returns to Scotland to showcase tracks from her forthcoming new album) and country music veteran James Hand, who will be performing songs from his brand new album Shadow on the Ground.
To celebrate its 40th birthday, Rounder Records has produced a CD featuring new releases from their artists including the likes of Steve Martin, Béla Fleck and Dan Tyminski (who returns to the festival for Transatlantic Sessions). Festival fans who book early for the Rounder Records 40th anniversary gig will receive an exclusive copy of the CD.
Blue Highway recordings available: Still Climbing Mountains, Wondrous Love, Marbletown, and Through the Window of a Train
