Havana, Cuba – Afro-Spanish singer Concha Buika and Cuban musician Jesus (Chucho) Valdes are expected to give a concert on April 14 at the Amadeo Roldan Theater in Havana.
This will be the first time Buika, 37, performs in Cuba. She will also share a stage with the song writer of Babalu Aye, sources from the Cuban Music Institute reported.
Born in Palma de Mallorca, Buika debuted in 2005 after signing a contract with Dro Atlantic record label.
She is currently promoting her most recent album "Niña de Fuego," in which she makes incursions into traditional Mexican, rumba, Andalusian and popular folk music.
