Two of the most prominent fingerstyle guitarists alive today have come together on a duo guitar project with explosively good results. Andreas Kapsalis of the Andreas Kapsalis Trio, the Metzitza Quartet, et al. and Goran Ivanovic of Eastern Blok have been working on a project reminiscent of "Friday Night in San Francisco" which featured guitarists John McLaughlin, Al DiMeola and Paco De Lucia, except that the vibe is not San Francisco but somewhere between Greece and the Balkans.
The duo will be touring the United States in the next weeks.
