Nashville (Tennessee), USA – Compass Records announced this week that Dale Ann Bradley is the recipient of the International Bluegrass Music Association’s 2008 Female Vocalist of the Year award. After being nominated for several years in a row and finally clinching the award last year, Bradley is overjoyed to be honored by her peers not once but twice.
Her most recent album, Catch Tomorrow, was the Chicago Tribune’s 2006 #2 bluegrass album of the year and Dale Ann appeared on the covers of Bluegrass Now and Bluegrass Unlimited and was featured in the women’s issue of Bluegrass Music Profiles.
Dale Ann Bradley will enter the studio in 2009 to begin work on a new album.
She now makes her home in Nashville, Tennessee.
