Carnatic Music Composers Day Series

 The Shri Subha Siddhi Vinayaka Mandhir Society (Regd.), Pocket IV, Mayur Vihar, Phase One, Delhi 110091, in coordination with the Issai Kudumbam of Delhi, celebrates the Carnatic Music Composers Day Series featuring the wonderful compositions of Sri Tallapaka Annamacharya (1408 – 1503) in Telugu and Kavi Ootthukkadu Venkata Subbier (1700 – 1765) in Tamil.  The event will take place on Sunday, the 17th Aug, 2008, with the rendering of Kritis of both these composers.The program starts at 3.00 PM. and will feature young students of music, the local artists, veteran musicians and two of the music groups, the Guru Kripa Group and The Kakathia Sangeetha Group. Interested participants are requested to convey their names and details to enable smooth conduct of the event.
 
 The venue is the Concert Hall (Shri Subha Siddhi Vinayaka Mandhir). This program is open to all and all are cordially invited.
