Paris, France – Six years after Proxima Estación: Esperanza, Manu Chao will release La Radiolina (Because Music), his eagerly anticipated fourth album, in the US on September 4th on Nacional Records.
Manu Chao remains a World music icon throughout the globe, but he has yet to reach full recognition in the US: considering Manu’s recent endeavors in North America, this should be corrected in no time. Opening for Rage Against the Machine’s reunion concert at Coachella in April, Manu Chao easily won over a crowd of 30 000+ impatient Rage fans with one of his trademark performances full of energy and fun. This standout performance was followed by a successful tour in the US in May and June, preparing the North American audience for the release of La Radiolina, his fourth album, in early September. Manu Chao has spent the last six years traveling and touring, earning the self-proclaimed status of ‘citizen of the moment.’Once again, his multilingual (French, Spanish, Arabic, Galician, Portuguese, English, and Wolof) and multicultural sound with left-wing political lyrics will seduce new fans with this new album.
It’s more than 2 months before La Radiolina drops, and Manu Chao already offers his brand new single ‘Rainin In Paradize’ for free download at his official website www.manuchao.net.
