S.O.B.’s Reggae Concerts Presents Reggae Star Junior Reid in New York

Reggae icon Junior Reid, best-known for his international hit “One Blood”, which sold over 2 million copies, is coming direct from Jamaica to perform at S.O.B.’s.
 
 The former member of reggae super group Black Uhuru (1985-88), is known today not only as an artist, but as a producer and talent agent, who has notably produced artists such as Dennis Brown, Ninjamean, Gregory Isaac, Jah Mason, and many more.
 
 Still avidly performing and recording, Junior Reid continues to collaborate with artists ranging from Poor Righteous Teachers & Busta Rhymes to Guru, Wu Tang and the Game. Recently, Reid was catapulted back into the spotlight when he appeared on MIMS’ "This Is Why I’m Hot Remix", one of the more popular remixes of 2007, mixing West Indian culture with hip hop culture in New York City.July 10th promise yet another intimate concert at S.O.B.’s, complete with reverberating bass and mesmerizing visuals. This show offers fans what they cannot get at Summerstage: a chance to get up close and personal with Junior Reid, as he rocks the hits like “One Blood” and his part on the “This is Why I’m Hot Remix”. DJ Twinsound will keep the crowd grooving before and after the Junior Reid takes the stage.
