Paris, France – Amadou & Mariam will be on tour through the United States and Canada from April 26 to July 19 to promote their latest album Dimanche a Bamako.
The couple, who met at an Institute for the Blind in Mali, have found
astounding success throughout the world and have met critical acclaim with the album, which has already sold 270,000 copies in France and over 50,000 in North America.
The three-month tour will take the couple to some of the most famous venues in
the United States and to some of the biggest festivals of the summer, including
Bonnaroo, Summerfest, and Coachella.
The album, released under Because/Wagram in France, will be distributed by
Warner for all export purposes.
