Acclaimed southern psychedelic, blues and jam rock band Col. Bruce Hampton & Aquarium Rescue Unit is set to perform tomorrow, Wednesday, August 12th, 2015 at The Ritz in Raleigh, North Carolina. The band includes members of Widespread Panic and Allman Brothers Band.

The group reunited recently and has been on the since July 29 and will end the current tour in Brooklyn, New York, on August 16th. Several of these tour dates will be recorded for posterity and released as a live album later on this year. The band’s classic album Col. Bruce Hampton & The Aquarium Rescue Unit was released in 1992.

The lineup includes Col. Bruce Hampton on guitars and vocals; Jimmy Herring (Widespread Panic, The Dead, Jazz is Dead, the Ringers) on guitar; Oteil Burbridge (Peacemakers, Allman Brothers and the Tedeschi Trucks Band) on bass; Jeff Sipe (Phil Lesh, Béla Fleck, Susan Tedeschi, Trey Anastasio, Jazz is Dead, Alex Machacek, Debashish Bhattacharya) on drums; and Matt Slocum on keyboards.
