Serdar Ilhan and Mehmet Dede, founder’s of New York world music venue Drom, received the 2021 globalFEST Impact Award last week.
The award is given by a jury of arts professional made up of press, artists, presenters and goes to “professional(s) living or working substantially in the United States at any stage in their career, who has earned respect and praise from the global music (world music) community for their outstanding commitment to the field.”
