Renowned Singer-Songwriter Jorge Drexler Releases Amar La Trama

One of the most important creative forces in the Spanish language field, Jorge Drexler, has a new album titled “Amar La Trama,” which debuted at #5 on Spain’s Pop Charts. The song “Una Cancion Me Trajo Hasta Aqui” is iTunes’ Single of the Week for the week of March 29.

Jorge Drexler is the Uruguayan singer-songwriter who achieved unprecedented worldwide recognition in 2005 when he became the first non-English language songwriter to win an Oscar for Best Original Song for “Al Otro Lado del Rio” from the film The Motorcycle Diaries.

A resident of Madrid, Drexler has won multiple awards for his recordings and written songs for many of the greatest singers in the Spanish and Portuguese-speaking world.
