La Bienal de Flamenco de Sevilla will once again extend beyond traditional theaters, with flamenco performances set inside two of Seville’s major historic landmarks: the Royal Alcázar and the Royal Artillery Factory.
At the Patio de la Montería of the Royal Alcázar of Seville, Israel Fernández will present his recital De oro y marfil on September 14. The following night, Rancapino Chico will give the world premiere of his new project, Pizarra.
On September 16, the Alcázar will host Xerezanías, an exclusive gathering of artists with ties to Jerez. The lineup features Luis El Zambo, Dolores Agujetas, Antonio de la Malena, Manuel Valencia, and Las Tatas de Jerez.
Meanwhile, the Royal Artillery Factory of Seville will provide the setting for another series of productions. Ana Morales will present the world premiere of Rapsodia. Fantasía subterránea on September 13 and 14.
Pablo Martín Caminero will also bring his three-part Trilogía to the venue. Trilogía. Al toque is scheduled for September 22, followed by Trilogía. Al baile on September 23, with María Moreno as a guest artist. The series concludes on September 24 with Trilogía. Al cante, featuring David Carpio.
