Bronagh Slevin – Rewilding (self-released, 2026)
Bronagh Slevin presents her enchanting self-produced album Rewilding, a lovely work that connects Irish melody with Mediterranean influences. It highlights Slevin’s emotive voice and multifaceted, virtuosic cello, which she recorded live as a unified performance.
The album explores love, disenchantment, desire, nature, and personal renewal. Nature inspired Slevin’s music, places such as forests, mountains, volcanic landscapes, the moon, earth, and water.
Throughout this album, the marranzanu (jaw harp), tabla, Chapman Stick, flute, saxophone, and tin whistle join layered vocals, cello, chamber folk and restrained electronic elements.
