Angus MacKenzie & Family Release “aig an taigh” From Skye

Angus MacKenzie, a member of Dàimh, has released a new EP with his family titled “aig an taigh.” Now based on the Isle of Skye, MacKenzie comes from Mabou on Cape Breton Island, where Highland culture and Gaelic shaped his early life.

The recording features original compositions by the MacKenzie family, written for people and places meaningful to them. MacKenzie performs whistles; Eilidh contributes clarsach and piano, Màili plays fiddle, Calum appears on button box, and MairidhAnne adds mandolin. Special guest Murdo Cameron joins on guitar.
