Dominig Molard

Dominig Molard was born in 1954 in Saint-Malo, Brittany. Together with his brothers, Jacky and Patrick, he is an essential artist in Breton music. Dominig plays many percussion instruments, including the Scottish drum, Indian tabla, darbuka, bodhram, bones, tubular bells, etc. He is the percussion director of the “bagad” (pipe band) of Saint-Malo, Douarnenez, Bleimor and Kevren Brest Sant-Mark. He is also a teacher at the Traditional Music School in Douarnenez.

Throughout his career, Dominig has worked with groups such as Gwendal, Bleizi Ruz, Alan Stivell, Jacques Higelin, Pat O’May Group, Diaouled Ar Menez, Annkrist, Ogham, Satanazed, Kemia, Jade, Andarta, Zap, Kern, Les Pires, Alain Genty, Yvan Cassar, Melaine Favennec, Mannu Lann-Huel, Annkrist, Didier Squiban, Ronan Le Bars, Soig Siberil, and Georges Join.
