CRASHfest 2018 to Deliver a Formidable World Music Festival in Boston

CRASHfest 2018 will transform the House of Blues club into an indoor world music festival bringing an eclectic mix of global music to Boston music scene. The festival will take place on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at House of Blues Boston.

Rubblebucket – Indie-pop dance-band with reggae influences
Vieux Farka Touré – acclaimed Malian guitarist
Mokoomba – Afro-fusion from Zimbabwe
Zeshan B – Chicago soul singer with Indo-Pakistani roots
Flor De Toloache – Exciting all-female mariachi band
Tal National – High energy Afro-rock from Niger
Innov Gnawa – Trance music from Morocco
Newpoli – A modern take on music from the Mediterranean
Só Sol – Brazilian music with an Americana twist
Kotoko Brass – Afrobeat & reggae with New Orleans style brass

The House of Blues includes an expansive dance floor and seated balcony overlooking the main stage, the luxurious and exotic Foundation Room, and a smaller stage in the restaurant. Global street food, international beer, and custom cocktails will be available for sale.

Other festival attractions include performances by SambaViva, belly dancer Soumaya MaRose, tap dancers Subject:Matter, and Emperor Norton’s Stationary Marching Band.
