Africa Oyé Festival Returns in June 2015

africa_oye_2Africa Oyé, the UK’s largest free celebration of African music and culture returns to Liverpool on Saturday, June 20 and Sunday, June 21, 2015.

The festival reported record audiences last summer. Some of the best artists from across Africa, the Caribbean and the wider diaspora will be joined by the traditional eclectic ‘Oyé Village’ featuring an assortment of traders, workshops and kids entertainment at Sefton Park in Liverpool.

“Last year was a really special Oyé, there’s no doubt about that. I’m really looking forward to revealing our line-up for 2015 and proving that we can follow it with another spectacular festival,” said Artistic Director, Paul Duhaney.
