Spanish contemporary folk music band Contradanza is scheduled to present its new album titled “El canto de la tripulación” (the song of the crew) in Cadiz. The concert will take place on Thursday, February 13 at 22:00 (10 pm) at El Pelícano Musicafé.
Contradanza performs a mix of Andalusian folk music, Sephardic sounds and global music influences. The current lineup includes Ricardo de Castro on vocals, acoustic guitar, mandola and ukulele; Fernando Percu on drums and percussion; Antón Ramírez on bass; Luis Gómez “El canario” on soprano sax, tenor saxand flute; Julio Castell on bouzouki, ukulele, electric guitar and flamenco guitar.
El Pelícano Musicafé is located at Avda. Fernández Ladreda 1, Cádiz; next to Puerta de Tierra – 956 28 84 26.
