Guitarist Adrian Raso and Romanian brass band stars Fanfare Ciocarlia have a new album titled Devil’s Tale, scheduled for release in North America on February 2014. The musicians worked with the great Swedish animator and illustrator Mattias Gordon to produce a video of their song ‘Urn St. Tavern.’

Devil’s Tale brings together the sounds of Balkan brass with Gypsy Jazz guitar. Fanfare Ciocarlia is a leading brass with 24 musicians. Raso is a guitar maestro specialized in the Gypsy Jazz style developed by Django Reinhardt.

Meeting the band was a great experience,” says Raso. “We bonded instantly. We joked about being separated brothers as it really did feel like that. Musically we understood each other from the get go.”
