The Chieftains, winners of six Grammy awards, are set to perform Walt Disney Concert Hall on Sunday, February 17 at 7:30 PM as part of their 28-date U.S. tour. The group is promoting its 50th anniversary album titled Voice of Ages.

The world’s most influential and successful traditional Irish band, The Chieftains are towering figures in Celtic music. The group has defined the genre for a popular audience worldwide during their amazing 50-year career, collaborating with legends like Sting, Van Morrison, Joni Mitchell, and The Rolling Stones along the way.

The Chieftains achieved the highest Billboard debut of its career in 2012 with Voice of Ages. On Voice of Ages, The Chieftains collaborate with an impressive lineup of musicians from the worlds of Irish folk, Galician folk, Scottish folk, country and Americana, and indie-rock. Guests include Imelda May, Lisa Hannigan, Paolo Nutini, Carlos Núñez, Carolina Chocolate Drops, Bon Iver, The Decemberists, The Low Anthem, The Civil Wars, Pistol Annies, and Punch Brothers.
