Cliff Furnald Launches New FM and Online World Music Show RootsWorld Radio

RootsWorld editor and radio host Cliff Furnald has a new weekly radio program called RootsWorld Radio on FM and online at www.RootsWorld.org

Each week, Cliff Furnald will take listeners on a one hour tour across borders and genres, introducing music from faraway places and sometimes local. It might be jazz from Italy, folk music from Madagascar, Balkan music from Knoxville or a touch of the avant garde from Toronto. Each week will be a global tour, with no boundaries and no limits.

The program is broadcast each Saturday night at 8:00 PM on the FM and HD airwaves of WAMU’s “Bluegrass Country” in Washington DC, metro Virginia and Maryland, and rebroadcast on Wednesdays and Saturdays on www.TaintRadio.org
