Previously Unseen Ali Farka Touré and Toumani Diabaté Videos Released

In anticipation of the upcoming release of Ali Farka Touré & Toumani Diabaté’s second and last album ‘Ali and Toumani’, World Circuit is releasing previously unseen footage of these legendary Malian musicians.

There is a 1 minute album teaser, a video clip for the song ‘Kala Djula’ which is out now as a digital download, and a fascinating short film on the making of the album., which can be viewed here:

 

 

 

 

Toumani Diabate and his band will play his interpretations of the music of Ali Farka Touré in a series of special concerts starting in April 2010.
