WOMAD Charlton Park UK in July 2007

There are new confirmations this week for WOMAD Charlton Park, Malmesbury, Wiltshire, UK, to be held 27-29 of July 2007. The artists added to the line-up are soul legend Isaac Hayes and a special Thursday night welcome performance from The Blind Boys of Alabama.

In addition, a further eight artists have been added to the bill, including: Tinariwen (Mali), Seth Lakeman (UK), Calexico (USA), David D’Or (Israel), Young Zulu Warriors (South Africa), Afrodisiac Sound System (USA), Dream Engine’s ‘Heliosphere’ (UK) and Hocus Pocus (France). Over 80 world-class artists from 40 countries will perform over the festival weekend.
