Babel Med World Music Showcase in 2007

France – The third edition of Babel Med Music will take place from 29th to the 31st of March 2007. This year the organizers have once again set up a call for nominations for all artists performing World Music. The 30 selected groups will perform a showcase on one of the stages of the Dock des Suds, in Marseilles, in front of hundreds of professionals from the music scene around the world, and in front of a large public.

Any artist wishing to be considered by the selection committee can complete the application here.

The closing date for all applications is 21st November 2006. All candidates should:

– Download and complete the application form from the Babel Med Music website
– Send the application form to the Dock des Suds, with the following:

• 2 copies of the artist’s / group’s CD (demo accepted)
• 1 press book (information about artist/group, biography, photos…)
• 1 copy of technical requirements
