San Sebastian, Spain – Airea is the new album by
“albokari” (Basque horn player)
Ibon Koteron, from Biscay. Airea features alboka (Basque horn)
accompanied by various world rhythms and sounds. A total of
12 new pieces.The album was produced by Kepa Junkera
and features Ruper Ordorika (voice), Iñaki Plaza and Ruben Isasi Etxak (percussion),
Faltriqueira (Galicia, voices), Solledona (Corsica, voices), Pekka
Westerholm and Heikki Syrjänen (Finland, liru, mankeri), Roston
Kuchichian (Armenia, duduk), Gilles Chabenat (France, hurdy gurdy),
Andrea Pisu (Sardinia, laudeddas).
