New Album by Silvio Rodriguez Well Received in Mexico

(Prensa Latina – Cumbancha) Havana, Cuba – The 11-track album Cita con Ángeles, the latest album by Silvio Rodríguez, went on sale in Mexico at the end of November, where it has been well received. International news agencies and digital media in Mexico reported that the Cuban troubadour left the symphonic shrillness of his previous production behind, to retake the simplicity of guitar, flute and bongos. They stated that the album offered a series of intimate reflections and at the same time universal, on everyday life going beyond the Caribbean nation’s borders, to talk about what the musician is surrounded by, his family and Cuban milieu.
