Archives of Traditional Music Indiana University, USA. The Archives of Traditional Music at Indiana University is the largest university-based ethnographic sound archives in the United States. Its holdings cover a wide range of cultural and geographical areas, and include commercial and field recordings of vocal and instrumental music, folktales, interviews, and oral history, as well as videotapes, photographs, and manuscripts.

The Centro de Documentación de Música y Danza del INAEM has a database called, "Resources of Music and Dance in Spain", created by the National Institute of the Scenic Arts and Music (INAEM). The database has been active since 1985 and it includes all professionals related with music and dance, as well as entities and events related with these two kinds of activities. In the year 2001, a publication called "Recursos de la Música y de la Danza en España: entidades y actividades"(Resources of Music and Dance in Spain: Entities and Activities) was released. the content is also available through this Web site. Fundación Conservatorio Flamenco Casa Patas, Madrid, Spain. A center created in May 2000 inside a restored building located at calle de Cañizares, 10, right above the famous Casa de Patas Flamenco tavern. Fundación Conservatorio Flamenco Casa Patas is Madrid's first Flamenco conservatory. It includes a hall for conferences and presentations and several classrooms for teaching music theory and Flamenco guitar. The center also includes a store, library, audio library and video library.

Wesleyan World Music Archives. Wesleyan University, Middletown, Connecticut, USA. The Archives contain Prof. Emeritus David McAllester's personal collection of Comanche and Navajo music, recorded in 1940 and 1950, respectively. There are over 3000 original audio tapes, approximately 700 discs, and 100 videotapes in numerous formats.
