In a short period we have become fastest growing music label in the West Indies and top music talent company Cartagena Colombia. Chawala of Rey De Rocha concerts is the king of Champeta having been in the business for nearly 40 years. Chawala started in music as a Champeta DJ at the age of 8 years old. Chawala is like a brother to me and also my business partner and good friend. Together we have taken up the torch to bring the heart of the music of Champeta to the world at large. We will be providing two types of music, one purely as Champeta, and athe other through the fusion of unique Champeta beats and styles infused into other popular forms of marketed music.
Cartagena is the 3rd ranked tourist destination in South America just behind Rio de Janeiro and Buenos Aires. Cartagena is the top tourist destination in Colombia and is considered to be the center of the rich Colombian music movement of this incredibly talented nation. At times we are keeping 6 music studios busy as we continue to create new sounds including rich fusions of favorite genres. We do have a common mission and that is to take the rich talent of Colombian and West Indies singers to the front of the worlds attention. This Champeta music genre is incredably popular and its truly unique beats and lyrics are addictive to many including myself. The fusion genres you will experience at RitmoCaribe.net is music created by the unbelievably talented and warm people of Cartagena. Our mainstream genres are; Reggaeton, Champeta, Latin Pop, Latin Techno, and Spanish Reggae where we are proud to be the dominant producers of these genres in Cartagena and quite possibly Colombia as a whole. This has not quenched our thirst for creativity, and RitmoCaribe has authored several new music genres of fusion music sure to grab your ears, move your feet, and touch your hearts:
