Name: Kora - a West African harp with 19-21 strings, popular in Gambia, Senegal and Mali. It’s made by sticking a thick pole through the side of a large gourd covered in a cow skin and then attaching the strings (traditionally fishing line or nylon) in two rows to both the pole and a bridge on the gourd. It is played in a similar way to a harp.
