While Shetland is not best known for its vocalists, all that could soon change
thanks to young singer Jillian Isbister. Jillian is still at school but has a
voice and professionalism beyond her years and experience.
Jillian triumphed at Celtic Connections in 2005, winning a coveted ?Danny Award? for her performance during the festival?s Danny Kyle Open Stage, the first occasion such an award has been won by a Shetland based artist. Her version of John Lennon?s ?Imagine? is inspiring and she really makes the song her own. |
