In 2005, at age 16, Ammara Brown is certainly not new in the music circles, having
appeared on stage with her father Andy Brown as well as in radio and television
adverts with
Oliver Mtukudzi. Ammara, who spent more than five years in the
United States, writes all her songs, sometimes helped by her father. Backed by
the three members of the Storm, with the 14-year old drummer son of long time
Thomas
Mapfumo's guitarist Ashton Sugar Chiweshe, Kundayi on drums, Alistair on
keyboards and Methuselah on bass, the sound is professionally refined and
