WOMAD Summer School at Bath Spa University

UK - The year 2007 brings the launch of WOMAD's first ever Summer School at Bath Spa University from 30 July - 4 August. Participants will be able to immerse themselves in a week of music, voice and dance through master classes, ensemble tuition, 'in conversation' sessions, workshops in vocal techniques, performance and much more.
Tutors include legendary drummer Bill Cobham (USA), guitarist, producer and key member of Robert Plant's Strange Sensation, Justin Adams (UK), lyrical vocalist Cara Dillon (Ireland), Abdallah Ag Alhousseyni of Tinariwen (Mali), 'mbira' master Chartwell Dutiro (Zimbabwe), African polyphony singer and tutor Coco Mbassi (Cameroon) and many many more.
