Queen of Soca Music Alison Hinds at S.O.B.'s August 26

S.O.B.'s in New York will present the Queen of Soca Music, Alison Hinds, on Tuesday August 26th. The "Roll it Gal" gave a memorable performance last year, attracting a sell-out crowd and a surprise guest performance by reggae mega-star Shaggy.

Alison Hinds lastest disc, Soca Queen, with production from Salaam Remi (Nas, Fugees, Amy Winehouse) has been burning up dancehalls across the Caribbean. With her women-empowering lyrics and up-tempo dance tracks, Alison seems poised to follow the footsteps of fellow Bajan beauty, Rihanna, to superstardom.
